Twisters, the spiritual sequel to the 1996 classic Twister by Warner Bros Pictures, Universal Pictures, and Amblin Entertainment released another trailer. I think this was a bad coincidence for this trailer to be dropped amid severe storms hitting the Midwestern United States at this time. The trailer looks entertaining and keeps up with the 2024 Cowboy trend with the first scene of the trailer opening with a rodeo event. It feels like we’ve had a movie like this not too long ago in WB’s other non-Twister-related natural disaster movie, Into the Storm (2014).
But who knows? This new sequel might turn out to be a great time. Here’s the official synopsis and new trailer for Twisters. Please spare a thought and prayer for the people in the Midwest who are trying to get through the severe weather crisis.

She is lured back to the open plains by her friend, Javi (Golden Globe nominee Anthony Ramos, In the Heights) to test a groundbreaking new tracking system. There, she crosses paths with Tyler Owens (Powell), the charming and reckless social-media superstar who thrives on posting his storm-chasing adventures with his raucous crew, the more dangerous the better.
