Warner Bros and Legendary released a final 1-minute trailer for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. This trailer displays the ten years the MonsterVerse has existed, starting with the 2014 Godzilla American reboot. We then cut images to other scenes of the franchise, from 2017’s Kong: Skull Island to 2021’s Godzilla vs Kong. The studio’s marketing attempts to amp up anticipation for the franchise alongside Big G’s win at the Oscars last weekend to excite fans to see pink spined-Gojira and mechanical left-handed Kong team up against another Big Bad Titan. We’ll see if the movie itself is worth the hype when it’s released on March 29th, 2024.
